"Good evening, folks. Thanks for tuning in. Coming up later in this half hour, the search for the diamond worth one billion wulongs continues. And the ISSP attempts to crack down on pirating in the trade lanes. But first...
"A week ago we informed you of the apparent assassination of Mark Takatana, alledged syndicate member. In the days since we've kept you up-to-date on the ISSP's continuing search for the person responsible for the murder, but until now we've had little to give you.
"Tonight, however, we have just learned that the police are one step closer to apprehending the murderer and they want your help.
"This woman, Brenna MacBan, is now wanted for the murder of Mark Takatana and if turned over to police custody is worth thirty-thousand wulongs. The officials at ISSP would like to stress that the bounty will only be paid out if Miss MacBan is alive at the time she is submitted into their custody.
"The police also believe that Ursa Minor, the well-known Mars crime syndicate, may have also issued a bounty. ISSP officials say that all bounty hunters should be aware that if they turn MacBan over to the syndicate they will be obstructing justice and will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.
"Although the ISSP would not comment on the bounty posted by Ursa Major rumors put the sum to be paid out at one million wulongs.
"Next up, the Ganymede Sea Rat. Could they be distant cousins of Earth's own dolphins? We'll have that story and more in moments."
